Jeremiah 17:15

"Thus says the Lord: Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart turns away from the Lord"

Jeremiah 15-17

I've been reading but haven't had much of a chance to blog anything. So, I will just continue along with where i'm at now which is Jeremiah. I read this verse today and it really struck me...

"Your words were found, and I ate them, and your words became to me a joy and the delight of my heart, for I am called by your name, O Lord, God of hosts" - Jeremiah 15:16

Job 19-21

"I know that my Redeemer lives, and that in the end he will stand upon the earth." - Job 19:25

Job 16-18

"I also could speak like you,
if you were in my place;
I could make fine speeches against you
and shake my head at you.
But my mouth would encourage you;
comfort from my lips would bring you relief." - Job 16: 4-5

Job 13-15

"Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him. Even so, I will defend my own ways before Him." - Job 13:15

Job 10-12
